WHAT INFORMATION IS NEEDED TO OBTAIN A QUOTE?
Just send us your item, it can be an actual sample, drawing or even a description and we will be able to give you a quote.
HOW DOES THE PROTOTYPING PROCESS WORK?
Initially, photos of the prototype from multiple angles are e-mailed to you for comments. We will modify the prototypes until they look right in photos and then the physical sample is sent to you for final approval prior to beginning production. The sample fee includes all necessary revisions and shipping costs.
HOW MUCH DO SAMPLE PROTOTYPES COST?
We do charge a fee to create a sample product for your approval. Sample fees depend and vary according to the size, complexity and materials used. We will give you a quote prior to production of any samples. If you decide to place an order for manufacturing, the sample fee is applied towards the cost of your order.
WHERE ARE THE FACTORIES?
We use several different factories in China. The factory we choose will be according to the specific nature of what type of product, quantities of eventual production, your required timeline, and budget.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY PRODUCTS?
Typical production times at the factories we use are 30-45 days after design approval. Manufacturing times can also vary according to quantities and complexity of the product, as well as the workload at the factory. We will give you the most accurate estimate once the sample is completed to your approval and you are ready to begin production.
Once production is completed, delivery times via ocean are approximately 30-40 days, while air freight times can vary from 2-10 days depending on the freight carrier. All told, including a few weeks - a month for an average sample to be produced and approved, we recommend allotting about 12 weeks for standard ocean delivery and about 8-9 weeks for delivery by air freight. During certain times of the year, usually in late spring and early summer, the factories can be very busy fulfilling the next season's holiday orders. This may add a bit of time to sample construction and production runs.
WHAT IS THE TYPICAL LEAD TIME FOR TOOLING
AND PRODUCT MANUFACTURING?
This depends on a wide range of factors such as complexity and content. If you are making a plastic or electronic product it could take anywhere from 60 to 120 days from sample approval to get the
tooling manufactured and tested.
Once the tooling is ready and pre production samples are approved, the time before we can ship the first order varies depending on the nature of your product and your order size.
HOW ABOUT SHIPPING, CUSTOMS, AND TARIFF FEES?
We can include all duties, customs clearance, and transportation from the factory to your front door in our quote. We will need your US Zip code on your quote request to provide this shipping estimate. Once manufacturing is complete and the exact weight and volume of your order are known, all shipping costs will be finalized. If you prefer to handle shipping through your own carrier, we can also quote you a price without all of the above.
HOW CAN WE BE ASSURED THAT THE PRODUCT WILL BE OF HIGH QUALITY?
Castlespring Ent Ltd puts quality above all else. Our quality control team located in China provides on site monitoring at all stages of production to ensure compliance throughout the production process. If necessary, independent third party testing can be arranged.
Safety is our prime concern and all our factories are audited to meet the standards required by ICTI, major world retailers and brands such as Disney, Hasbro and Target.

The primary language in our office is English. From our CEO to our QC staff, to our shipping department, all communications will be conducted in English.
HOW OFTEN CAN I EXPECT TO HEAR FROM YOU?

As a Hong Kong based office we are 12 or 13 hours ahead
of the USA depending on daylight savings. All emails will be responded the same day it is received which means if you email us during the day you can expect a reply when you open your emails the following morning.
